The Bay City Volunteer Association was created as the social arm of the department.

The Association assists in fundraising to augment the departments facilities and equipment needs. In 2014, the Association was issued a 501 (C) 3 non profit status, and your donations are tax deductible. Receipts are available upon request.

Attached is their Annual News letter.

On Saturday, June 17th, members of the Bay City Firefighters Association spent the day building a ramp for Mr. Leo Gabriel.  Mr. Gabriel is a veteran of two wars and has many life experiences. He was a great host and supervised the project, while regaling the volunteers with many stories. Once the ramp was finished, Mr. Gabriel tested it and can be quoted as stating, “Oh my goodness” several times.

The Association would like to thank Rosenberg Builders Supply as well as the citizens of Bay City whose donations allowed the Association to assist with this project.

The Firefighter's Association recently conducted a fundraising event with the help of local resident Jackson Morris. The donations received have allowed the association to provide three sets of pet rescue masks to the Bay City Fire department. The Association will also be donating two additional sets of pet rescue masks to neighboring Fire Departments. One each to Garibaldi and Tillamook Fire Departments. I would like to thank everyone that donated to this project.

On June 26,  the Firefighter's Association held a car wash to raise funds for training manikins. The car wash was a huge success, and the Association was able to purchase Adult, and Infant manikins as well as an AED trainer.

Thanks to everyone that supported our efforts, and to all of the Volunteers that made this such a successful event.
