Bay City Fire Department
The City of Bay City is accepting applications for a full-time firefighter. As a member of the Fire Department and under direct supervision of a Fire Chief, a firefighter performs firefighting, rescue, emergency medical care and other types of emergency response related duties. Participates in fire prevention, code enforcement, and public safety education activities. Helps to maintain and make minor repairs to the fire station, fire apparatus, and emergency response equipment. Participates in training and personal development activities necessary to acquire and maintain the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of a firefighter in a proficient and safe manner. The salary range for this position is $48,000 to $64,325 annually. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance (90% paid by City) employer contributions to PERS, vacation and sick leave.
